Centre announces Special Package for AP

Arun Jaitley told four factors have influenced the kind of assistance AP should receive from Centre. 1) AP Reorganisation Act 2014, 2) 14th Finance Commission, 3) Statement of then PM Manmohan Singh in Rajya Sabha on February 20th, 2014, 4) Nethi Ayog

All Promises of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 to be fulfilled
100 percent Cost of Polavaram Project to be taken care since April 1st, 2014
Suresh Prabhu will make an announcement on Railway Zone
Sanctioned Rs 3,975.57 crore to address Revenue Deficit for fiscal 2014-15. Will settle balance amount in installments
Already sanctioned Rs 2,500 crore for AP Capital construction and Rs 1,005 for Backward Districts.
Centre bears the cost of Central Government Institutions and Educational Institutions
CBDT will issue notification on 15% Allowances
Tax Exemption will be considered based on the after effects of GST implementation
Visakha-Chennai, Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridors will be taken care by the concerned Ministry
