Arun Kumar slams Jagan saying that he is gambling with AP state!

Undavalli Arun Kumar was a big supporter of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and he remained a supporter for YS Jagan as well until recent years. When Jagan decided to go for elections in 2014 with new party of his own, Arun Kumar stayed put in Congress and later decided to stay away from contesting in elections.

He is still in the news for his solid orating skills and experience in stating issues like no one else. He stated that YS Jagan is gambling with voters like a businessman and that is not helping AP State at all.

He pointed out that Jagan disbursed Rs. One lakh to at least 40 lakhs families in the state and hoping to consolidate them as vote bank for next elections. Which means he is planning like a businessman to stay in power again with at least 80 lakhs to one crore votes.

"This kind of gamble might pay as a business strategy but voters think in a very different manner. Voters polled against Chandrababu Naidu even though he gave Rs. 10,000 just ten days before the last Assembly elections," he reminded everyone.

He further fumed against Jagan for taking over the Polavaram project from centre. He stated that Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not see Andhra Pradesh has a state that will vote them to power in next elections and hence they won't spend 32,000 crores on Polavaram project.

He said that the reservoir height will not be increased by Central Government as it won't help in terms of cost cutting and hence, rather than hoping for centre to release funds State MPs should have enough spine to raise issues like Polavaram project and Special Category Status.

He slammed MPs saying that they lack vision and spine. He also slammed AP Government for giving importance to DBT schemes and neglecting power generation. He lamented that during bifurcation AP state was a power surplus state and now in worse condition than Telangana.

He opined that lack of vision from both the government's of AP languished the state into this status. He asked Jagan to concentrate on revenue generation than revenue disbursement as he is emptying state funds for his schemes like a gambler.
