Aruna Miller, who is a Hyderabad-born Indian-American, garnered attention from people across the world during her mission to enter the House of Representatives. Unfortunately, The 53-Year-Old conceded defeat in the primary elections in the 6th Congressional District of Maryland. While Aruna Miller received 17,311 votes, Trone managed to get 22,855. Two other contestants got over 5,500 votes each & Three Others settled with less than thousand votes each.

Post her defeat, Aruna Miller claimed her campaign has inspired hundreds of Americans in Maryland and across US. 'Though we don't have the biggest wallet, Our Campaign had the most heart,' he concluded, hinting she could raise just around $1.6 million but her Opponent Trone who is superrich funded $10 million from his pocket for winning Primary.

Trone will face Republican Party's Ami Vober in November 6th election. His victory is going to be a cakewalk as this seat is a stronghold of Democrats. Winner will receive a salary of Rs 1.19 crore and the term lasts for two years.

Five Other Indian-American Candidates faced defeat in the Primary Elections in US. This is disappointing to say the least!
