Shocking : Ex-Chief Minister Commits Suicide

It was the Servant who saw the body of Kalikho Pul hanging in the house. The body was sent to post mortem and cops believe no foul play was involved.
Arunachal Pradesh DGP S Nithianandam said Kalikho Pul might have committed suicide last night itself.
President Pranab Mukherjee expressed shock over the untimely demise of the promising young leader. He told that Kalikho Pul's contributions will be remembered for ever.
Kalikho Pul was elected to Assembly for the first time in 1995. He handled portfolios like Finance, Health and Power as Minister. He is the first Congress CM of Arunachal Pradeshs.
Political Crisis in Arunachal Pradesh was inevitable after 21 out of 47 Congress MLAs revolted against CM Nabam Tuki in November last year. A President's Rule was imposed by Centre on January 26th and Kalikho Pul who led the Congress Rebel MLAs sworn-in as CM on February 19th. With Supreme Court's judgement disapproving Kalikho Pul's regime on July 13th, He has no other option but to step down after serving for five months. Pema Khandu was elected as CM of Arunachal Pradesh last month and rebel Congress MLAs returned to the parent party.
