To give a big facelift for the constituency, he announced the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project. The Prime Minister was in Kashi today to inaugurate the first phase of the project.
Donning a turban gifted by a fan, Modi inaugurated the part of the project on Monday. After the construction, Narendra Modi had thanked the construction workers who worked for the project and showered the floral pearls on the construction workers.
As a bid to show his gratitude towards the construction workers for the role they played in the project, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had lunch with the workers and clicked a photo with the workers on the occasion.
He took the opportunity to shower praises on the construction workers, artists, and those who are a part of the project for their dedication. Mr. Modi said, the role they played in this is beyond words and highlighted how the work did not stop despite the tough days posed by the Covid pandemic.
Before inaugurating phase 1 of the prestigious Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Narendra Modi reached the ancient temple and offered prayers for the presiding deity. The project cost is said to be around Rs 339 crore. The ambitious project of the Prime Minister connects the Kashi Vishwanath temple with the ghats of the Ganga.
