Experts have found out that, recovered patients of Covid-19 develop Black Fungus that leads to loss of sight. A few patients have lost their lives after getting infected with the virus.
As an unwanted development, the Black Fungus, which was prevalent in states like Maharashtra and national capital Delhi and others has now made its way to Telugu states too.
A development that could ring danger bells in the public mind, the Black Fungus was detected in Telangana capital Hyderabad. Doctors at Continental Superspecality Hospitals at Gachibowli have detected Black Fungus in five patients.
The fatal fungus is mostly found in patients placed in ICUs and patients who are suffering from chronic diabetes. Headache, fever, pain under the eyes, nasal or sinus congestion, and partial loss of vision are the symptoms of fungus.
