GHMC Elections: Political Campaign Turning Uglier

The political parties have taken the upcoming civic body polls in Hyderabad seriously and putting in all the efforts for the campaign. The campaign is getting uglier with each day passing.
The BJP, which is high on confidence with Dubbaka's win has taken a special interest in the GHMC elections. Even the BJP Rajya Sabha member and central Ministers have also campaigned for the party.
BJP used all the sensitive issues like surgical strikes to pushing Pakistanis and Rohingyas. This made even the BJP supporters wonder how come the party can promise a surgical strike within the country.
The BJP which has been highlighting the Rohingyas entering India as a national threat once again used it to lure the public. Bharatiya Janata Party's Telangana unit chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar promised that if the BJP candidate wins Mayor's elections they will do a surgical strike.
All the important issues like facilities, infrastructure, and others were kept aside and the unnecessary issues like Rohingyas, Biryani, and personal issues were being highlighted.
AIMIM has also targeted BJP during the campaign and said the BJP leaders should have beef biryani. BJP MLA Raja Singh hit back at AIMIM President and said he will offer Owaisi Pork biryani.
Looking at the campaigns and personal attacks, one wonders how low can the leaders go to attract voters in the elections.
