Confusion over the shifting of AP Government employees from Hyderabad to Amaravati by June 27th continues even though the construction of temporary secretariat has neared completion.

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is determined to carry out administration from the new capital by June end. However, Employees weren't keen to move to Amaravati as of now inspite of 5-day week.

APNGOs president Ashok Babu on Sunday questioned AP Government, 'How could we shift to Amaravati without basic amenities?'.

CM Chandrababu Naidu, however, made it clear AP Employees will have to start working from Amaravati by June end. 'Employees have been complaining that rents in new capital were too high. Such excuses shouldn't be made, they should shift to Amaravati at any cost. 80% of Secretariat employees are willing to shift from Hyderabad,' he said.
