"Assembly Results Will Backfire," Says Kavitha
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Dec 2018 11:23 AM GMTKavitha who is the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao recently participated in an interview and is saying that Telangana Rashtra Samithi will win the assembly polls this time.
"Chandrababu Naidu is losing the ground in Andhra Pradesh. He is trying to pose as a national level leader. He is intentionally diverting people's attention towards national level alliance so that people wouldn't notice his failures. It will backfire very badly both for him and Congress also," said Kavitha. "We are going to anyway win the assembly polls.
The impact will be positive in the Lok Sabha and we are going to win all the seats. There is a need for an alternate political platform in the country. TRS will play a role great role in forming this platform. After the polls, we will start focusing on the national agenda," added Kavitha. She said the December 11 results will prove that the alliance - People's Front - has been rejected.
When asked about the decision to go for early polls, she said that the narrative of the election is about Telangana. "If we had elections around the parliamentary election, then the discussion would be mandir, masjid, Rafale, Bofors. The efforts that TRS leaders put in for four-and-a-half years should not go waste," she clarified.
