Atchannaidu Sent To Two Weeks Judicial Remand

Former Labour Minister, TDP leader Kinjarapu Atchannaidu who was produced before the ACB special Court was was sent to judicial custody of 14 days in connection with the ESI scam.
Going by his health condition, he was provided medical treatment before producing him before the ACB special court. The former Minister's advocate stated that he recently underwent some surgery.
The former Minister was initially shifted to Vijayawada Sub-jail and after completing his medical formalities he was shifted to Guntur GGH and the leade was admitted to a special ward.
On the other hand, former ESI Director Ramesh Kumar was also sent to judicial custody of two weeks by the ACB. As a result, he was sent to Rajahmundry Central Jail.
ACB sleuths arrested Atchannaidu on the morning of Friday over his alleged role in the ESI scam while procuring drugs and various medical equipment at higher prices than that of the market prices.
