It is known that bullets were fired at All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief, Hyderabad Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi's vehicle on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh, which is gearing up to witness a high intense political battle with the upcoming general elections.

A day after the much-talked-about incident, the Uttar Pradesh Police made a big breakthrough and two people were reportedly arrested by the cops. After taking the accused into police custody, the cops have grilled them to gather information.

According to the news agency ANI, one of the two accused has connections with the Bharatiya Janata Party and he allegedly holds the BJP party membership. A photo claiming the same is now doing rounds on social media platforms.

During the investigation, the cops have found that the accused were reportedly hurt by the comments made by the Owaisi brothers against a religion. Unhappy with the comments, the two accused reportedly planned the attack.

The two accused were reportedly identified as Sachin and Shubham. Sachin is believed to have close ties with the BJP. In a few pictures, he is believed to have posed with a few legislators of the BJP.

As the cops have reportedly seized the pistols from the two accused, the cops are digging deeper into the matter to get details of who sold the desi pistols to the two accused.

It has been widely reported that the two accused will be produced before the court and the Police department is likely to seek directives to take the accused into their custody.

On the other hand, the members of the Hyderabad-based AIMIM have severely condemned the attack on Asaduddin Owaisi's car and gave a call for the protest. As a result, a bundh-like situation erupted in the Old City. The shops in the city were shut by the members of the political outfit.

After the attack on his vehicle, the Union Government had allocated the 'Z' category security for Asaduddin Owaisi. It is the second-highest security cover in India and under the protection cover, the Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi will be provided with commandos and escort vehicles.
