Attempt-To-Murder Case Against Bollywood Singer?

Her rash indiscretion and abject insensitivity has put the lives of several VIPs, including the President of the country Ramnath Kovind, in peril. Despite testing positive, Bollywood playback singer Kanika Kapoor had party-hopped, visited places and shook hands with high and mighty at will in utter unconcern for the public health. She also went to the Rashtrapathi Bhavan knowing fully well that she was Corona positive and thus endangered the life of India’s president.

Now, the authorities are mulling registering a case of attempt to murder against Kanika Kapoor. They say that the singer had mingled with the people despite knowing that she was carrying Corona virus. She flouted the quarantine precautions. This is nothing short of a murder attempt, the authorities feel. Even after she was asked to quarantine herself, she created a ruckus at the hospital and threw starry tantrums.

Among those infected by her are former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her son and MP Dushyant Singh. In fact, Dushyant Singh had even attended Parliament and shook hands with two MPs in the Parliament Central Hall unknowingly. He is now in self-isolation.
