Death threat to AP Minister?

Reports of Maoists issuing a death threat to AP Panchayat Raj Minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu in response against TDP Government's bauxite mining in Visakha agency has created a sensation in political circles.
A section of media reported that Naxals who have been opposing bauxite mining demanded Ayyanna Patrudu to resign to his ministry and mount pressure on State Government to withdraw its plans for bauxite mining in Narsipatnam division. The media sources also inform Ayyanna Patrudu discuss the issue with Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao and then Chandrababu Naidu fearing life threat to him & other TDP leaders in the north coastal region.
However, Police Department condemned the reports saying no political leader received a death threat after TDP Government approved bauxite mining in 1,212 hectares of forest land in Visakha. They also clarified there is no life threat to Ayyanna Patrudu and haven't beefed up security of any politician in the recent past.
