Ayyanna Patrudu's Statement On Ayodhya Sparks Rumours

Minister Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu is a rebel within the TDP. Though he has never left the party, he has always tried to speak in a tone that is remarkably different from the others. He opposed the entry of people like Ganta Srinivasa Rao and tried to raise the issue of corruption by some TDP leaders.
Now the latest bombshell that he has dropped has left the TDP dazed. Ayyanna Patrudu has come out openly in support of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. He said that every Hindu feels proud about a temple at Ayodhya and added that everyone should contribute for the construction of the temple. He also asked the Hindu MLAs and the leaders of the TDP to donate Rs 10000 each for the construction of the temple.
This comment has left the TDP leadership baffled as the party has adopted an ambivalent attitude towards the temple issue. It is worried that open backing of Ayodhya temple could rob the party of the Muslim votes. Also, there are fears as to whether the powerful leader will join the BJP. But, Ayyanna, who is known to speak his mind, has already come out in support of the temple construction in Ayodhya.
