Azhar To Be TRS MP Candidate

Mohammad Azharuddin tendered his resignation to the Congress Party on Tuesday. He took such a decision within weeks after being appointed as Telangana Congress Working President.
Recently, Azhar had a discussion with someone close to KCR during the wedding of an MP's Daughter. Following which, A proposal was brought to CM KCR that the former Cricketer will join TRS if he gets an assurance on Secunderabad MP Seat. As the TRS Supremo responded positively, Azhar didn't wait any longer to quit Congress.
Azharuddin joined Congress in February 2009 and got elected as MP from UP's Moradabad Constituency. He, however, conceded defeat in 2014 Lok Sabha Polls. In Congress, Former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav has been aspiring for Secunderabad Lok Sabha Seat. So, Azhar preferred TRS which has done exceedingly well in the recent Assembly elections.
