Former Cricketer Azharuddin expressed his willingness to contest from Secunderabad Lok Sabha Segment on Congress Ticket in next elections. This statement hasn't gone down well with Congress Party GHMC In-charge Anjan Kumar Yadav who is the front-runner for Secunderabad Parliament Ticket. A heated discussion happened between Telangana Congress Leaders at the Gandhi Bhavan on Monday regarding the same issue.
Post the meeting, Anjan Kumar Yadav made it clear: 'I will be the Congress Candidate from Secunderabad Lok Sabha Segment. There needn't be any doubts over it! Few Leaders are confusing the public with these kind of statements. Some Chamchas has been guiding Azhar in the wrong path. I was targeted just because these Leaders can't digest my rise'.
Having represented Secunderabad Lok Sabha in the past, Anjan Kumar Yadav wishes to get elected again from the same Constituency. He is now getting ready to complain against Azharuddin when he meets Rahul Gandhi & Sonia Gandhi.
