Here's some real bad news for all those who intend to emigrate to the US. US president Donald Trump has announced that he would temporarily suspend all immigration into the US to control the spread of Corona virus.
On Monday, he announced he will sign an executive order to this effect. In a tweet, he said: In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States! This is sure to pour cold water on all those waiting to get or renew their immigration papers. Several Indian emigres too would be hard hit by this move. Trump has already restricted travel to China and several European countries. However, he did not elaborate on the immigration modes that would get affected by his latest decision. Already, the US has suspended the processing of all visas. This suspension will be in force for several weeks.
