The ruling TRS is worried as a sparrow today. Every report coming from Nagarjunasagar is bringing bad news for the party. The party is finding itself in a strange predicament in the constituency, which will soon go to the bypolls.
The ruling TRS has reportedly got several surveys commissioned in Nagarjunasagar to gauge public mood. In each of these surveys, the ruling party was in for a shock. The surveys repeatedly confirmed that the ruling TRS would come third in the elections. Repeated surveys have shown that the TRS popularity graph is falling by each passing day. Most surveys have placed the Congress in a top position with BJP closing behind. The BJP popularity in the constituency is growing rapidly. This is a major achievement considering the fact that the party had polled just 2600 votes in the 2018 assembly elections.
The TRS is now said to be looking for ways and means to boost the sagging morale of the party cadres. It is unable to decide on its candidate as if a Reddy candidate is put up, the BCs might desert the party. If a BC is made the candidates, the Reddy's would go towards Jana Reddy.
