Nandamuri Balakrishna is a name that needs no introduction. He is balancing his work life and political life. On top of this, he is taking care of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital as well. Adding another feather to his illustrious cap, the Nandamuri hero became a host and is successfully hosting a talk show.
The Actor-turned-politician is scoring good marks as a legislator by providing good facilities to the people there. He is running an Anna Canteen in the Hindupur constituency which is represented by him. As how his father provided good quality rice for Rs 2, Balakrishna is also providing food for the same price.
The Anna Canteen started by Nandamuri Balakrishna in Hindupur completed 200 days and the hero is providing good quality food for people there. At a few locations, the Canteen feeds people. The main aim of Anna Canteen is to provide quality food for the poor who do mere work.
As its been 200 days since the Canteens were started Balakrishna decided to treat the Hindupur locals with tasty and yummy Biryani. The specialty of the Biryani is that it costs only Rs 2 per plate. It is said that the Biryani will be available between 10 AM to 1 PM.
Those who eat Biryani at the Canteen will also get a sweet reportedly and this is making the Biryani get sold like hotcakes. Balakrishna visited the place once and served people with Biryani.
Hindupur Assembly constituency is very special for the Telugu Desam Party as it was earlier represented by the party founder chief Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Later Nandamuri Balakrishna became an MLA from the same constituency.
He became the MLA from Hindupur in the 2014 elections, which marks the first elections after the state was divided. In the 2019 polls as well he emerged victorious. Nandamuri Balakrishna is hoping to score a hattrick win by winning the next polls too.
Not just the Anna Canteen, Nandamuri Balakrishna is also running a mobile hospital in the Hindupur Assembly constituency for the people. The locals are benefiting from this as the mobile hospital comes to their area.
