College education has been ruled by corporate colleges in Telugu states for a long time. Sri Chaitanya and Narayana groups are leaders in the corporate education. It is an undeniable fact that many parents are joining their children in these colleges for better marks. But still, there is heavy criticism on these colleges from the students, media and a section of parents for the psychological stress they put on the students.

The reports indicate that many students from these two colleges commit suicide as they unable to handle the pressure. Considering the gravity of the situation, members of the Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika(TVV) are seeking a ban on both these colleges in Telangana. They have started an online petition on change.org requesting the CM KCR and Deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari to ban Sri Chaitanya, Narayana junior colleges.

The petition has received 250+ signatures within two days, which shows the how seriously people reacting to the issue. The petition claims that 47 students who were students of these two colleges have committed suicide in 2017. We have to wait and see how the government is going to respond to the petition moved by TVV.
