Bandi Vs Eatala: Sanjay wins this round

It is now clear. The BJP national leadership has sent the clearest possible signal that it will stand by Telangana state president Bandi Sanjay and that there would be no change of guard at this juncture. It also implies that the BJP will go to polls in Telangana later this year under the leadership of Bandi Sanjay only.
This also implies that either the stories of leadership change are plain rumours and planted leaks or that the efforts of the likes of Eatala Rajender have been stonewalled by the national leadership. The Telangana media went hammer and tongs relaying story after story that Sanjay would be removed and Eatala would be made in-charge of the party's election campaign.
But now it turns out that there is no such thing as leadership change. To show that Bandi Sanjay is firmly in charge, the central leadership approved the expanded list of the state executive committee. This is being seen as a victory for Bandi Sanjay. Interestingly, several known supporters of Eatala Rajender like Tula Uma too have found place in the list. It goes to show that all the sections were consulted and everyone's interest was taken care of.
Quite significantly, there is no comment on the expansion of the state executive committee from Eatala Rajender. He did not also react to the clear signals in favour of Bandi Sanjay. While maintaining a studied silence on Eatala, Sanjay also managed to get a group of senior party leaders to come out openly against Eatala's alleged attempts to take over the party's reins. So, this round goes to Bandi Sanjay.
