Bandla Ganesh joined Congress Party few weeks ago with the hope of bagging either Shadnagar or Jubilee Hills MLA Ticket. While claiming to be PK's Bhakt, He tried to establish himself as Congress loyalist since childhood and even showered praises on CM Chandrababu Naidu for TDP Vote Bank.
Recently, Bandla Ganesh accompanied Uttam Kumar Reddy when the PCC Chief was campaigning in Huzurnagar Assembly Constituency. Uttam was surprised to see the popularity of the Producer among the masses. People hadn't only offered a rousing welcome but also addressed him as 'Gabbar Singh' Producer.
Telangana Congress might use the services of Bandla Ganesh in other constituencies as well. This could be a ploy to attract as many Pawan Fans as possible towards Congress.
Analysts say, People might recognize Bandla Ganesh wherever he might go because of his star-studded films but that doesn't mean he have the credibility. Most of the PK Fans has disowned him after he joined Congress. Some of the Fans has been still supportive due to the fact that he claims to be PK's bhakt.
