Bangladesh cricket team surprised worldwide cricket pundits by entering the World Cup Quarter Finals. But the team failed to keep the momentum and they suffered a huge defeat by Indian team in quarter final match.

Bangla played well in initial overÂ’s and managed to restrict India team from getting runs. But Rohit Sharma played superb innings and guide the team towards big score. Rohit Sharma benefitted from a poor decision by Pakistan's experienced and award-winning umpire Aleem Dar.

Now controversy started on the decision and Bangla team players started blaming umpiring decisions. Not only players even Bangla prime minister also expressed her opinion and said that the result would have been different if there was no umpiring mistake.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has blamed the 'poor umpiring' for their team's exit from the tournament. During a function organised by Bangladeshi expatriates in Melbourne for the national team, Prime Minister called the President Nazmul Hassan and greeted the players on the phone.

Sheikh Hasina consoled their team saying, "India would not have been able to defeat them had there been no umpiring errors."
