The whole country has welcomed demonetization drive taken up by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, Centre has invited the wrath of common man by failing to take adequate measures for dispensing of the cash at the earliest.
Major reason behind public uproar is due to the failure of ATMs. None of the existing ATMs could dispense new currency unless they are upgraded.
Altogether, There are around 2.5 lakh ATMs in the country. Only 3,000 Employees were trained for software upgrade of the ATMs. The time consumed for upgrading of each ATM is at least 15 minutes.
To meet the demand, Additional 2,000 Engineers were required. Can Centre hire the Man Power on a war-footing mode? If Modi could do it, A lot of issues will be addressed.
