BBC in Indian languages including Telugu

Global media giant British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) launched an operation to expand its wings. The media house is seriously working on reaching out to people in Indian states.
Reportedly, BBC News will be available in four Indian languages (Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi) in the near future. As much as 289 million pounds has been invested on this expansion exercise.
About 157 skilled individuals will be recruited by BBC for its Telugu website and social media campaign. The hiring program might be launched at reputed Universities in Telugu States soon. Focus will be on the digital platform for now. The launch is likely to happen by 2017 end.
The entry of BBC into the Indian market will create employment opportunities to the students pursuing Mass Communications and Journalism.
