After surveying many major cities, the firm released the data and the survey was conducted in 2022.TomTom Traffic Index mentioned the names of cities that have the most traffic congestion based on the average time that takes to cover the distance.
Bengaluru was ranked the most traffic-congested city in the world in 2019. But it improved the rank and came second. However, the average time to travel 10 kilometers increased by 40 seconds compared to 2021.
London was ranked the most traffic-congested city in the world as it takes 36 minutes and 20 seconds to cover 10 kilometers. Bengaluru stood at the second post. Coming to India, Bengaluru is the most traffic-congested city, followed by Pune(6), New Delhi(34), and Mumbai(47).
