Best State Award For Andhra Pradesh

The other day, National Tourism Awards 2017-18 were presented by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu at the ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan. AP managed to attract the attention of the nation by bagging a prestigious award. This Telugu State was a recipient of Best State Award for achieving significant growth in tourism during this period.
Telangana, on the other hand, received Best State Award for innovative use of Information Technology.
Goa and Madhya Pradesh had jointly bagged the Adventure Tourism Award.
Uttarpradesh is being recognised as the Best Film Promotion-friendly State.
Speaking on this occasion, Venkaiah Naidu opined never been before doing business in India has been so easy. He expressed happiness over the fact that more number of foreign tourists has been visiting India off late due to the red carpet welcome.
The Award Ceremony was also graced by Secretary General of World Tourism Organisation Zurab Pololikashvili and Union Minister of State for Tourism & Culture Prahlad Singh Patel.
