As a shot-in-the-arm effort to bring back the lost glory to the Congress party, former party chief Rahul Gandhi started a massive yatra named Bharat Jodo yatra. Amid much fanfare, the yatra was started in Kanyakumari. The yatra is receiving a good response from the people. The yatra will be held for not less than 150 days.
Rahul Gandhi had a good time in Tamil Nadu and the yatra in the state lasted for three days. The MP met women sanitation workers and the members of a popular YouTube channel. This is the second time Rahul Gandhi met the YouTube members. Last time, he had lunch with them as well.
Rahul Gandhi's Tamil Nadu tour saw an interesting scene where he received a marriage proposal. An elderly woman asked if Rahul Gandhi is interested in tying the knot with a Tamil girl. He did not say anything and smiled as usual. His tour entered God's own country Kerala.
