12 Bhopal Gas Tragedy Survivors Succumbed To COVID-19

In what it could be a shocker, 12 survivors of the Bhopal gas tragedy lost their lives to the fatal COVID 19 virus. The sad incident has created a sensation in the city as many NGOs and organisations have raised their voice against this.
The official data states that all the 12 deceased were the survivors of the gas tragedy that happened in Bhopal in the year 1984. Most of them are aged above 55 years which makes them more vulnerable to the deadly virus.
Following this, the authorities have taken all the required measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. All the nearby localities were sanitized and the concerned authorities inspected the area.
This sad news has doubled the fear and concerns of the Bhopal gas tragedy survivor group that has members of around 5.5 lakh survivors. These 12 new fatalities have turned out even scarier for them.
