Group Wars in Nandyal TDP surfaced post the death of Sitting MLA Bhuma Nagireddy. Bruma's Right Hand AV Subba Reddy revolted against Bhuma Akhila Priya due to lack of prominence.
There is heavy competition for Nandlal TDP Ticket. Sitting MLA Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy wishes to contest again from Nandyal Constituency. Whereas, TDP Leadership is willing to offer only Allagadda or Nandlal for Bhuma Family.
Strong buzz is doing rounds that Minister Farooq is most likely to contest on TDP Ticket from Nandlal Constituency in 2019 Elections. Already, AV Subba Reddy claimed he is in race for Nandyal MLA Ticket. Within the TDP, The competition is high and the party will face revolt whoever might be the candidate.
On the other hand, Entry of Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy into TDP would complicate the situation further as the former Minister sought 1 MP and 3 MLA Tickets in Kurnool District. Deputy CM KE Krishnamurthy is miffed with the TDP Leadership for paving red carpet for his arch-rival. Kurnool TDP Leaders were worried about the sacrifices they have to make if Kotla joins the party.
