OMG: Bhuma spent just Rs 6.49 Lakh!

Media and Opposition Parties have alleged that hundreds of crores have been spent in Nandyal for the victory of Ruling Party in the by-election.

Much to everyone's surprise, TDP Candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy reported to Election Commission that he spent a mere Rs 6.49 lakh for the by-poll. The Election Expenditure of Telugu Desam Candidate is just Rs 20,000 more than Congress Candidate.

Apparently, Bhuma quoted very less expenditure particularly on the nomination day and until 2 days before the polling. What about the expenses incurred during the canvassing of star campaigners Balakrishna and Chandrababu Naidu?

If Bhuma really won the by-poll by spending less than Rs 10 lakh, Then it's going to be a miracle for sure. How would Election Commission handle this misrepresentation of facts?
