TDP Government has recently issued a GO quashing the 7-Year-Old case against Hindupur MLA Balakrishna and Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.

Apparently, Balakrishna campaigned for TDP's Narsaraopet Assembly candidate Kodela during 2009 polls inspite of the Police Act in the town. For violating the norms by holding a rally and public meeting, A case was filed against Balayya, Kodela and his son Siva Ramakrishna, Modugula Venugopal and 15 Others. Recently, DGP Sambasiva Rao sought withdrawal of Prosecution in the case. Subsequently, Principal Secretary AR Anuradha has issued GO Number 122.

Soon after this development, MLA Bhuma Nagireddy moved a proposal before CM Chandrababu Naidu seeking removal of Rowdy Sheet against him. Soon, Chief Minister sought a report from Kurnool District Collector on this matter.

It was TDP Government which opened Rowdy Sheet against Bhuma Nagireddy following the brawl at Municipal Council meeting on October 31st, 2014. Post the meeting, There was a murder attempt on Municipal Vice Chairman Vijay Kumar. Soon, Non-bailable cases were filed and Rowdy Sheet was opened against Bhuma Nagireddy.
