Big Bazaar Stores turn into ATM Machines

Even two weeks since the launch of demonetization scheme, Countless people are waiting in front of bank counters and ATMs to exchange/deposit/withdraw cash. Recently, Centre permitted withdrawal of Rs 2,000 per day at the PoS machines at select Petrol Pumps who had a tie-up with State Bank of India.
Inspired by this model, Big Bazaar announced that customers could withdraw cash up to 2,000 using their debit cards at all of its stores from November 24th, 2016. This facility will be available in 258 Big Bazaar and fbb stores in more than 100 cities and towns in India.
Future Retail Chairman Kishore Biyani claimed the new measure in association with SBI is an attempt to ease the hardships faced by the common man.
Four Steps to follow for Cash Withdrawal: Reach the cash counter, swipe the debit card, enter PIN and withdraw up to Rs 2,000 from their bank accounts.
