Big Blow to Bharat Biotech, European Country holds vaccine deal!

Hyderabad based pharma giant Bharat Biotech's struggles to export Covaxin doses to European Countries as a country had decided to suspend the deal made with the company at the neck of the moment.
Going into details, Brazil which had earlier clocked a deal with Bharat Biotech to procure 20 crore vaccine doses is said to have suspended by the government.The deal is worth of 324 US Million Dollars.
The deal was suspended as Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro is facing allegations of alleged irregularities while fixing the deal to procure the doses.
The local Brazilian media has said that Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga announced the news of suspension of the vaccine deal in the wake of allegations levelled against the President.
Adding further, the Minister said that a detailed and comprehensive probe will be carried out by the concerned authorities to look for the alleged irregularities.
The Brazil President who is facing severe criticism over the way he is handling the Covid situation in the country has attracted more criticism as the opposition party and a few experts raised the doubt of a possible conspiracy behind the deal.
The President was accused of buying the vaccine doses for higher price that too when the vaccine dose is yet to get the concerned approval from the drug regulators.
Joining the opposition party, people have also hit the roads to protest against the vaccine deal and they are making allegations against the President for compromising on their health.
