Big Blow To Jagan Sarkar In Court In Flagship Scheme!

The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy suffered a hammer blow on Monday after the High Court gave the verdict in favor of the College managements which had moved the Court against the flagships scheme launched for the state government.
The division bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court heard the petition earlier today. The issue reached the High Court after the government knocked on the doors of the High Court challenging the verdict given by the single division bench in the past.
After hearing the arguments of the Andhra Pradesh government and the college managements associations through their respective counsels, the division bench quashed the Government Order issued by the government.
The managements of the colleges were not happy with the government's decision to deposit the money in the bank accounts of the mothers of the beneficiaries. With the government not hearing their concerns, the college managements have moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The single division bench had quashed the Government Order.
However, the government has another version. The Andhra Pradesh government says, as demanded by the college managements, if the amount is given to the principals of the educational institutions, then the education of the children would be under question.
Alleging that a few owners of the educational institutions have not paid the school fees of the students in the concerned institutions, the Andhra Pradesh government said they can do what the managements are asking them to do.
With no option left, the managements of the schools filed a petition and the single judge bench heard the petition. After the arguments, the court issued directives to the government that the amount paid under the scheme should be given to the principals of the schools. To counter the verdict, the state government filed a review petition with the court in this regard.
As a big win for the managements of the educational associations, the division bench of Andhra Pradesh had reciprocated the orders given by the sing;e judge bench and canceled the Government Order, which says the money to be deposited in the mothers' bank accounts.
