Big Hero sentenced to 5 years in Jail

The Supreme Court has sentenced Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt to five years jail term in connection with 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.
Sanjay Dutt will have to surrender with the next four weeks to complete three-and-a-half years in Jail. Notably, the actor was already served 18 months in Jail and he has to complete the remaining quota now.
Twelve coordinated blasts within two hours took place in Mumbai on March 12, 1993. About 257 people got killed and 700 more were injured. The serial blasts were a revenge attack for the demolition of the Babri mosque in Ayodhya in December 1992.
A TADA court convicted 100 people (11 out of them were sentenced to death and another 20 were given life terms). The remaining accused were sentenced to jail term ranging from 3-10 years.
