Big Move From Singareni On Steel Plant Privatisation!

No matter what others are saying, the Union government is adamant about privatizing the Vizag Steel Plant. The centre said this in Parliament many times. So this is confirmed that nothing can stop the process. The employees at the Vizag Steel Plant also held a protest against this.
Now the issue has turned political as the Telangana government also wants to take part in this. If the government can get the bid, then it can use it as a trump card to spread its wings in the state. BRS wants to try its luck in national politics and is focusing on states where it can have an advantage. BRS is focusing on Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
Now a big step from BRS as far as the Vizag Steel plant happened. It is said that a few officers from the Singareni Collieries went to the Steel plant in Vizag to have an idea about the plant and what can be done. A delegation went there.
Probably this is the first time a government is showing interest to take part in bidding in another state. So the delegation is exploring various aspects and trying to get details on various issues like the accounts- losses and profits and the allotment of mines.
Looking at all these developments, it appears that the BRS government is very adamant about taking part in the bidding and winning it if there is a possibility. If everything goes well then the aspect might work for the BRS for its future in Andhra Pradesh.
It has to be mentioned here that, recently Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath questioned the stand of the Telangana government on taking part in the bidding. He asked how the Chief Minister can participate in bidding who said he is fighting against the privatisation of the Vizag Steel plant.
