Bihar Polls 2015: Nitish-Lalu Jodi defeats Modi!

The Grand Alliance led by Nitish Kumar is likely to form the next Government in Bihar after NDA failed to live-up to the high expectations.
Voter turnout of 56.80 percent in this year's Assembly elections is the highest in Bihar's history. As many as 14,580 Officials have been involved in the counting process. About 62,780 EVMs were used in the crucial elections.
Soon after the counting began, NDA performed better than JDU+ giving an impression Modi magic has worked yet again. After few hours, JDU+ surprised everyone by gaining a huge lead of almost 80-plus seats. A big win for JDU+ in the offing and Nitish Kumar is going to be the Chief Minister yet again.
Bihar Results: JDU+: 178 seats; BJP+: 58 seats; Others: 7 seats.
