MLA behind Husband's escape from Police Station

Bihar MLA from ruling party JD(U), Bima Bharti is instrumental in the escape of her husband Awadhesh Mandal from a police station in Purnia district, Patna.
Just few hours after his arrest, Awadhesh Mandal escaped from police custody with the help of his wife and JD(U) MP Santosh Kushwaha.
Cops say there were around 100 criminal cases against Awadhesh Mandal. He was arrested on Sunday for allegedly threatening a widow and two children of Chanchal Paswan for giving statement against him in the court. Awadhesh Mandal is the prime accused on Chanchal Paswan's murder case.
After Awadhesh Mandal threatened the family, He was attacked by Paswan Tola residents and there after Police took him into custody. Immediately, Bima Bharti and Santosh Kushwaha reached police station with 150 followers. It was then the handcuffs of Awadhesh Mandal were unlocked for allowing him to file a complaint against the Paswan Tola residents for attacking him. JD(U) MP diverted the cops by enquiring about the complaint, That's when Mandal got into his wife's SUV and they both fled the spot. Police revealed that MLA and her husband were changing locations constantly.
