Bike-Borne Men Open Fire At Delhi Police Constable Leaving Him Injured

Tension gripped national capital Delhi after a gun firing incident was reported on Thursday, which resulted in a Police constable sustaining injuries. He was rushed to the hospital.
Going into detail, Police Constable Sandeep has stopped three persons traveling on a motorcycle for checking at the JJ Colony check post. He asked them to show vehicle documents.
Instead of showing their documents, three men tried to escape from him. Constable chased them in order to catch the trio. To escape from the constable, the trio opened fire at him. After shooting the Constable, the trio left the bike there and fled from the spot.
According to the media reports, the injured constable was rushed to a private hospital in the Shalimar Bagh area. It is said that the bike, on which the trio traveled was also stolen.
The cops started a launch to nab the trio. With the help of CCTV footage, police started searching in the nearby localities. More details in this regard are awaited.
