The H-1B Visa Reforms were going to affect a lot of Indians working in USA. A Bill proposing the hike of minimum salary limit to $1,30,000 from current $60,000 was tabled in US Congress. This is an attempt to discourage hiring from other Nations and create more jobs for the Americans.
Now, The Trump Administration is focusing on cutting down the Outsourcing. If this new rule is approved, American Companies opting for Outsourcing will be denied Grants and guarantees for Loan they obtain. At the same time, Firms hiring only US Citizens will receive allowances. A Bill to this effect is being placed in American Congress Yesterday.
Republican Party's David Mekinly & Democratic Party's Jean Green proposed the bill on Outsourcing. The main intension behind the bill is to curtail Outsourcing to India. Several US Firms rely on skilled people in countries like India to get the work done at low cost. If the Outsourcing bill gets approved, More number of Americans will be hired for jobs in the service sector.
