Billionaire Pyare Khan, who hails from Maharashtra's Nagpur has turned savior for various patients by ensuring that 400 metric tonnes of liquid medical oxygen are supplied to the Covid-19 hospitals.

For this, the billionaire has spent as much as Rs 85 lakh. He came forward to supply medical oxygen to the hospitals when several medical facilities are gasping for medical oxygen.

Calling his service to supply oxygen to the hospitals as the service to humanity, the leading transporter has even refused to take money for the transportation of the oxygen supply.

So far, Pyare Khan has provided 32 tonnes of medical oxygen to various hospitals in and around the Nagpur area. He has hired two cryogenic gas tankers from Bengaluru to ensure the oxygen supply.

To see that the hospitals are supplied with the medical oxygen, Pyare Khan got the oxygen tanks filled with oxygen in Raipur, Rourkela, and Bhilai and bring them back to Nagpur.
