Bipin Rawat laid to rest in Brar Square in Delhi cantonment

The mortal remains of Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, and others were shifted to the national capital Delhi from the Madras Regiment for the last rites. The mortal remains were taken to his residence and then to the Brar Square crematorium. Bipin Rawat received an emotional farewell from everyone.
As many as 800 people including the dignitaries from the political arena, Army, and the counterparts of Bipin Rawat from other countries also attended the last rites and bid an emotional goodbye to Bipin Rawat.
They were given an emotional goodbye with full army protocols. Bidding an emotional final goodbye to Bipin Rawat, the personnel gave him a 17-gun salute. Earlier, the family members and relatives gave floral tributes to Bipin Rawat at his residence.
When the mortal remains of Bipin Rawat were brought to the Brar Square wrapped in tricolor, the crowd chanted Bharat Mata ki Jai slogans and said, Bipin Rawat, will be remembered till Sun and Moon stays alive.
The Army personnel from Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Bangladesh who attended the last rites bid an emotional goodbye to the veteran Army officer who served his nation till his last breath.
