This is just the data from the Swiggy app. The platform said that compared to 2022, there is a growth of 8.39 percent in the Biryanis that were ordered in the past few months.
The shocking details were announced by Swiggy after analyzing the order data. The number would be even higher if the data from other food delivery platforms were also gathered. Hyderabadi Dum Biryani is the most ordered Biryanis in Swiggy.
The data announced by the Swiggy platform said that Hyderabadi Biryani emerged as the king of food items that were ordered. The highest number of orders were placed from Kukatpally, followed by Madhapur, Banjara Hills, Gachibowli, and Kondapur.
Looking at the situation, more and more restaurants are coming out in the state. It is said that there are thousands of restaurants in and around Hyderabad city. It is no wonder that lakhs of Biryanis were ordered.
If we look at the data carefully, the orders almost doubled. While more than 72 lakh Biryanis were ordered on the Swiggy platform in six months, the orders doubled in 12 months. In the last 12 months, the Biryani orders doubled to more than 150 lakhs.
Swiggy announced the data and examined the orders that were placed on its platform from January this year to the 15th of June, which is six months. Though there are other items, Biryanis emerged as the sole winner.
