Biryani - Most Ordered Dish of 2017!

According to the survey 'Stateatstics' of Online Food Delivering Platform Swiggy, Chicken Biryani topped the list of Most Ordered Dish of 2017 in India. Masala Dosa, Butter Naan, Tandoori Roti and Panner Butter Masala occupy rest of the Top 5 spots.
Though Pizza is the item most number of people have searched (over 5 lakh times), It didn't get a place in Top 5 Orders list. Burger, Chicken, Cake and Momos are other items in the Most Search list.
In the Breakfast List, South Indian dishes Masala Dosa, Idli and Vada are on top. For Lunch & Dinner, Most People opted for Chicken/Mutton/Veg Biryani, Panner Butter Masala, Masala Dosa, Dal Makhani and Chicken Fried Rice.
For Snacks, Most Indians preferred Pav Bhaji, French Fries, Samosas, Chicken Roll, Chicken Burger and Bhel Puri.
The results are based on Swiggy's 12 months order analysis in metropolitan cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata and Chennai.
