BJP Announces Candidates List For Gujarat Polls!

The election fever has gripped the nation. Recently by-elections were held in a few states including Telangana's Munugode. Now we are gearing up for a bigger fight as the general elections in a few states are fast approaching. The poll-bound states also include Gujarat, the strong fortress of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The saffron party has been winning the elections for over three and half decades and it wants to make the record best by winning the next elections too. The opposition parties are also trying hard to win the polls if not at least to give a tough fight.
Keeping various things in mind the BJP leadership announced the names of the candidates who would run the polls. Making the media reports true Indian Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja's wife Rivaba Jadeja was also given a ticket. For the past few days, it has been reported that she might get a party ticket.
After a lot of discussions and brainstorming the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership announced the full list of candidates who would run the polls from the 160 Assembly seats. Luck shined on 69 sitting MLAs who were given a chance again to try their luck. These candidates are expected to repeat the magic.
The saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party has a supermajority in the house which has 182 seats. It has as many as 111 seats. In the previous elections, the party won 99 seats. Its MLA count increased in the house after a few legislators from the grand old Congress shifted their loyalties to BJP.
The saffron party might face a threat from parties like the Delhi-based Aam Aadmi Party that wants to spread its wings in the state. Though they cannot defeat the saffron party they can surely cut short the number of seats the BJP can win. BJP wants that to not happen and finalised the list after considering various factors.
The top leaders of the saffron party came together for an alleged meeting to finalise the list of candidates. The list prepared at the key meeting was read before the media by the party leaders.
