BJP, Congress In Twitter Handle Profile Pic War

The BJP and the Congress are at war. Not just in the constituencies, on ground, on social media and conventional media, but also on the Twitter handle pictures. These pics, known as DPs, represent the thrust areas of the twitter handlers.
When Trinamool goons demolished the bust of renowned educationist and pioneering academician Eshwar Chandra Bidyasagar during the attack on Amit Shah’s rally in Kolkata, the BJP launched a social media war. Interestingly, many of the pro-BJP twitter handlers have changed their profile pic to Ishwar Chandra Bidyasagar. This was meant to put the TMC on the dock. In a virtual retaliation, the Congress Twitter handles changed their profile pics to Mahatma Gandhi as soon as Pragya Singh Thakur, the BJP candidate from Bhopal, criticised Gandhi and termed his killer Nathuram Godse as a patriot. This is the Congress way of paying the BJP in its own coin.
The BJP has been in a spot ever since Pragya Thakur praised Nathuram Godse. She was immediately backed by some BJP worthies like Anantakumar Hegde. This has embarrassed the BJP to no end. As a result, the Prime Minister had to personally reprimand Sadhvi and Hegde.
