Can BJP Repeat Dubbaka's Result In West Bengal Or Restrict Itself Like GHMC's Result?
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Dec 2020 12:56 PM GMTWith just months ahead of the much-awaited West Bengal Assembly elections, the ruling All India Trinamool Congress(AITC) has been facing brutal shocks with the leaders leaving the party.
Adding more problems to the ruling party, Trinamool Congress (AITMC) rebel leader Suvendu Adhikari bid goodbye to the party and wore BJP shawl in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
He joined the BJP party at a rally held in the Midnapore region. The rebel leader cited, the corruption in the party and rot within the party as the reason for his exit from the party.
The rally was held as part of a two-day visit of Amit Shah to Bengal to kick start the preparations of the campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections that will be held in 2021.
The Saffron party BJP has been trying very hard to increase its base in West Bengal for a very long. But the efforts of the party leaders went in vain.
The upcoming elections seem to be a favorable condition for BJP with leaders of other parties, including the ruling party are joining the party.
Apart from Suvendu Adhikar, nine legislators from other leaders and ruling party MP Sunil Mondal joined the party giving the BJP a massive boost ahead of the Assembly elections.
BJP is enjoying similar energy in West Bengal like how it had in Hyderabad before the GHMc elections and in Dubbaka elections.
Comparing the two elections, BJP made a strong statement by winning Dubbaka by-elections, which is a sitting position for the TRS party, and continued its streak in the GHMc elections.
Though the party failed to win the GHMC elections, it has managed to restrict the ruling party to a certain limit, forcing it to have an alliance with the Hyderabad-based AIMIM for the mayor's seat.
Now the thing is whether BJP can register a dub aka type win or GHMC kind of win in the upcoming West Bengal elections. Both the results can be considered as a massive achievement of the party.
If BJP wins the West Bengal elections, one more state will be added to the list of states ruled by the saffron party. If GHMC results repeat in the state, it can prove that it can be the alternative to the ruling party. Let us see how the BJP wins.
