BJP Sets In New Target In Telangana!

The saffron party which is aiming to spread its base in southern states other than Karnataka received a very good response in Dubbak by-elections and recently concluded GHMC polls.
The election results gave full josh to the saffron party. Though the BJP failed to emerge as the single largest party, the election result gave hope to the party that it can become the alternative to the ruling TRS party.
Now the BJP has reportedly shifted its focus to the upcoming Nagarjunasagar by-elections. The seat fell vacant after serving TRS MLA Nomula Narasimhaiah passed away recently.
The SEC has not announced the by-polls for the Nagarjunasagar constituency. But the polls will be conducted anytime soon.
If everything goes well and BJP wins the Nagarjunasagar elections too, then the saffron party will contest the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections more intensively.
The other factors like lack of strong opposition or the parties which can take on the TRS party will benefit the BJP, like how it happened in the local body elections.
Looks like the TRS might face strong competition from the BJP in the general assembly.
