Decline in People's Support for TDP!

Former MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has been troubling TDP with his sensational statements ever since he joined BJP. His recent comments 'Rise of corruption in AP' and 'Gradual decline in people's support for TDP' will surely irk Chief Minsiter Chandrababu Naidu.
At the same time, Kavuri believe BJP have plenty of scope to emerge as a powerful political party in Andhra Pradesh. He says Modi-led NDA is willing to offer the kind of support AP needs to match the growth happening in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu & Telangana. He, however, remains tight-lipped on the delay in according Special Status and announcing Special Package for AP.
On the other hand, BJP MLC Somu Veerraju lashed out at AP CM for inaction against those people who were burning the effigies of Prime Minister Modi demanding Special Status. He reiterates Special Status isn't the only solution for all the problems. He questions, 'Why Assam which was accorded Special Status for 30 years still remained underdeveloped? In the form of Special Package, AP will receive more benefit than Special Status'.
Inspite of hard-hitting comments by BJP Leaders, TDP continued to maintain strategic silence keeping in mind the co-operation it badly needs from Centre to develop AP.
